The merger of ESOL (Environmental Solutions Division of Stericycle) into Clean Earth, has created one of the leading providers of environmental and regulated waste managed solutions in the United States. Clean Earth’s mission is simple – make the planet cleaner and greener.
The Power of Simplicity
To mark the merger of the two organisations, Splash of Paint were tasked with creating a new differentiated brand identity designed to make Clean Earth stand out in a market place where practically all brands look and feel the same. Whilst everyone uses lots of blue and green as their brand colours, we took a different route and used black and white with accents of green.
This enabled us to create a very clean, crisp logo with a contemporary visual brand style that instantly stood out in a sea of sameness.
The green dot
When the first astronauts viewed earth from the moon, they called it “the small blue dot.” We gave Clean Earth their own small dot but changed it to green to emphasize the importance of keeping our world green and healthy, and also to mark the essential role Clean Earth is playing in helping to maintain it.
Part of something bigger
The new logo and identity is sophisticated, simple and contemporary. It symbolizes Clean Earth’s future vision.
It says to everyone, “We’re Clean Earth. Period” or more importantly, ‘Clean Earth, Period’.
